Christian Art from deviantART: a Slideshow of Great Art to Evangelize with!

Ready to Serve, and Spread God's Word

There comes a time in every TRUE Christian's life, when you want to share your joy with the world.

Sharing our Lord's prescriptions for life, becomes something you yearn to do - it lifts you higher. Well, this time has come for me, and I am exuberant! But did you know, that when you have it in you to do something spectacular, that God will give you great ideas for your success? As so, this happened to me:

Being a member at IBOtoolbox, you have a chance to freely broadcast articles to the members there, and your article (they call them press releases) will also be syndicated to 3 other sites. Should the members comment on your PR (they get credits to do so), your story will be bumped up on the IBO wall, for a chance at even more comments and sharing. Members can also share your message to multiple social sites via AddThis (more credits). I also came upon one certain member who published PR's of encouragement - she had loads of comments on ALL of her stories.

Just previous to writing this, I posted a press release for the IBO wall: Turning Stress Into Success. I got it from ActsWeb.org, Solutions and Helpful Advice. They encourage evangelizers to use their content. Within 20 minutes, I got 6 comments, and 5 members who wanted to be my associate. But it doesn't stop there. You see, your latest PR's are listed on every press release page, so the public can brows through them, and read and comment.

I Bless His Name for opening this up for me, and have faith that my stories at IBOtoolbox will give encouragement, as well as lead some to the magnificent life that Christ has for everyone.

What Choice Will You Make?

In order to go to heaven and to be forgiven by Jesus, you must believe in Him first. If you didn't hear Billy preaching, he said you must be willing to change your ways. And if you are willing to change Jesus will give you the power to change your ways, if you truly want to come to Jesus.
This is the greatest choice anybody could ever make. He lives. He directs. He helps you sift through your problems and rebuilds your resolve with stability and precision. In the midst of darkness and emotional storms, He takes over where we on our own, cannot. He overcame the world, and by that only He can help us do it too.
So in return for your comment, If you come to Jesus Christ and believe on Him who bore your sins, YES you will be forgiven and you will receive eternal life.

21 Things Jesus Wants You to Know... Right Now!

These selected words and verses will help you to open up yourself to God's blessings.

  1. For I came not to call and invite [to repentance] the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God), but sinners (the erring ones and all those not free from sin).  Matthew 9:13 AMP
  2. God's way of putting people right with himself has been revealed. It has nothing to do with law, even though the Law of Moses and the prophets gave their witness to it. God puts people right through their faith in Jesus Christ. God does this to all who believe in Christ, because there is no difference at all: everyone has sinned and is far away from God's saving presence. But by the free gift of God's grace all are put right with him through Christ Jesus, who sets them free. Romans 3: 21-24 GNB
  3. I knew you before you were born. As my hands formed you, I whispered purpose into your bones. I can’t not love you! Read it here: Psalm 139:1-18 GNB.
  4. I love you beyond human reason—even at your very worst, steeped HIGH in SIN. Read it here: Romans 5:8.
  5. DO NOT LISTEN to the zealous, super-religious, or self-righteous people! Hear instead, of what God says. Read about it here: Matthew 16:6 GNB, here, Ephesians 5: 6 & 7 MSG, and here: John 16:13 GNB.

Start and End the Day with God

Read and pray all these scriptures
when you wake and before you sleep.

  • This is the day that the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it.
  • God’s mercy and grace are new every morning in my life.
  • I receive because I am God’s child.
  • I have been filled with His Spirit.
  • Greater is He that is in me than Hen that is in the world.
  • The Holy Spirit will give me wisdom and discernment regarding every decision I need to make today.
  • When I acknowledge God through prayer and worship, my steps are ordered and directed of Him.
  • The Lord gives me wisdom and might concerning all the affairs of my life.
  • I choose to be a blessing to all those around me.
  • No matter what happens today, I know God will see me through.
  • I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and if God is for me then no one can be against me.
  • I choose to honor God today by the words, I speak, I will honor God by the way I act. I honor God by allowing His love, light and truth to shine through me.
  • I am the head and not the tail, I am above and not beneath.
  • I am blessed coming in and blessed going out.
  • He always causes me to triumph.
  • No weapon formed against me shall prosper.
  • I am strong in the Lord and the power of His might.
  • Today is going to be a great day.

A Promise from God - 23rd Psalm Paraphrased

I am your Shepherd
You will never have need of anything that I want for you.
If you will trust Me, and allow Me to be the shepherd of your life,
I will give to you such great peace of mind that it will be like
Lying in the cool green grass of a springtime meadow;
And as you learn to deepen your love and trust,
A quietness will come over your soul.
Like a serene, calm lake.

It will be a time of great refreshment to your inner man,
Thus preparing you to do whatever tasks I set before you to do;
And do not minimize any task that I give you to do,
As it is for My honor and glory, not yours.

There will be times when, because of my great love for you,
It will be necessary for me to lead you
Into great darkness.....
Darkness that will be so great that you will feel as though
You are standing at the very edge of life,
With death awaiting you below.

But always remember, I am still your shepherd.
In the darkness you may not be able to see Me,
But you have my eternal promise that
I will never leave you or forsake you.

If you will continue to trust Me, even after you have
Been through a time of darkness,
I will again flood your heart with such peace that
You could even sit down with your enemies.

Your joy will be so great that it will spill over
Into the lives of others.
And as your reward I will give to you
All the really important things of life.
When you have completed all that I have
Planned for you to do on earth,
I want you to come up and live
With Me
Forever
And ever
... and ever.

Another Lesson, from Charles Stanley, & I Can Trust My Father Completely Now!

God Is in Control of Our Circumstances; He Rules over ALL Events, People, & Situations.

Victim or Victor By Dr. Charles Stanley

It's so amazing the way Charles Stanley presents concepts, ideas, and facts - he is truly my FAVORITE Theologian! Charles starts out describing the 5 different types of people, their worldview and how it directly affects how they relate to God:

Don't Fret Little Man, God's Got You Covered!

So here we are, my wife, her son, and myself, trying madly to return to a life where we don't have to concern ourselves about getting our power turned off, our mobile phones disconnected, loosing our internet connection, all the rest of the necessities required to survive in today's economy.

Like all winters for the web design and SEO industry, work drops off especially during the holidays. But last winter really hit me bad; I was without work for FOUR months. So our savings drizzled down, and we were caught with insufficient funds... several times. This escalated as our savings disappeared, and our expenses became greater than our income. And there's a collection of other debts that are still hanging.

New Background: Now this Blog Looks Good

Borrowed from faithfulinthemeantime.wordpress.com
False Evidence Appearing Real

faithfulinthemeantime.wordpress.com
Finally got out of my "fog" - you know, when you're acting on YOUR power, not GOD'S power, and everything is going array. And now that I feel my freedom again, I was able to set some time aside, and make this blog look better. Also, I added a bunch of verses that I favor:

  • Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. ( Isaiah 41:10 ESV)
  • The Lord knows what we think; He knows how senseless our reasoning is. (Psalm 94:11 GNT)
  • In everything give thanks for this is the will in Christ Jesus for YOU! (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
  • Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. ( Joshua 1:9)
  • One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life ... ( Psalm 27:4-5 NIV)
  • I will trust in the Lord with all my heart, and never rely on what I think I know. (Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV)
  • Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. (Psalm 25: 4, 5 NIV)
  • Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10 ESV)
  • This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. (Galatians 5:16 KJV)

Almost Didn't Go to Church Yesterday

... and I can't imagine having missed the lesson God had for me!!

Have you ever had that feeling, "So what if I miss church today!" Well, I had it yesterday. And come 15 minutes before it would start, I reasoned in my feeble mind, "Might as well, what else do I have to do?"

So I got there just as the first song was being played (we have canned music, more about that later), and it was another one I hadn't heard before. I used to hate it: when I first started back to church, most all songs were ones I hadn't heard before ... hard to enter into an attitude of worship. And then the woman behind me was clapping way too loud. Yea, I had troubles ruling my mind, as I did all week long.

The sermon was about prayer and our power and authority that God has given us through Jesus. Dr. Steven Boate started by discussing prayer, and how important it is. Yea, I know, I've been trying to pray more - catch myself "not" a lot, and feel guilty, but what is there to pray about, anyway????

A Five Finger Model of Prayer
From Creative Prayer - GO THERE, good prayer stuff!
Pray ... when you awake, tell God you're happy to be alive.
Pray ... giving thanks for your breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Pray ... when you're facing a decision. God may show you something you hadn't considered.
Pray ... that God watches over your loved ones as they go to school, to work, to a ball game.
Pray ... asking God to help you with your walk with the Lord.
Pray ... Holy Spirit, work in me and through me.

And I said a prayer as I started writing this.

"Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up," Luke 18:1. 'Prayer is the way to get God involved' (started taking notes). Then Steven stated something rather questionable, "Did you know that God doesn't do anything here on earth?" The place became totally quiet. "That's right, God doesn't do anything here on earth. He uses people like you and me to accomplish His works. God and Jesus are NOT relying on the earth, YOU ARE! Without you, carrying forth good works, nothing would be done. And it's so simple to do His work"

God Shows Himself to Me Again

Now that I have this blog, I can document all the times God talks to me, and shows His power.

Since coming back to God in January of 2012, I've witnessed a few episodes where God had to tell me something directly. The first one was when he spoke to me, telling me that I would never have to worry about making ends meet, and how that I am chosen to develop a perpetual motion magnetic energy generator, and that I will soon be very wealthy. The second time I witnessed God's power ... not just a feeling, an actual events, when He had me cast out a demon from my house in February. I posted a blog post here describing it.

The previous Sunday (May 27), God showed me that I was acting out of my ego for this new business. He wanted to let me know that it is HIS business, not mine, and the purpose of it is to serve His people. This lasted all day Sunday, and into Monday. That Monday, I went to the Salvation Army seeking utility payment relief. It was there that He spoke to me saying, "It's time you keep up with the group," meaning His chosen (for a certain designated task).

Our God is Not Dead

We serve a living God

Moses wrote a historical account of Israel's grumbling against the Lord and the resulting wandering in the desert. Moses described how the Lord gave the Levites the tithes of the people. The tithe of the tithes went to the priests.

In comparison to the gods of the Mesopotamia and Canaan, God did not need the tithes and offerings to sustain Him. The false gods' priests would deceptively say the food was to feed the gods but would secretly feed themselves. God was upfront with His people and gave the food and offerings to His ministers.

We serve a living God who needs nothing from us. He just desires our love and devotion. He loves us so much that He sent His Son to die and redeem us and gave us part of Him, His Spirit, to live in us.
You may notice this is from You Version - study your Bible online.

With the Lord, You Will Receive Success

When I came back to the Lord, I put together a MS Write Pad for verses that have great meaning to me. The first verse entered there was "Trust in the Lord with all my might and He shall direct my paths Lean unto Him also with thy understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." The Good News Translations says it as so: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the LORD in everything you do, and he will show you the right way."

This morning I awake to my Bible on my computer, with that same verse there. And I now see the difference between when I wasn't with the Lord, and now, as I am with Him.

What a shame it is that we not only lean on our own understanding, but we also take pride in it. And we are so blind to see that success equals favor in finances. Erma Bombeck said it this way, "Don't confuse fame with success. Madonna is one; Helen Keller is the other." Yes, success is merely reaching a goal. "Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome." Booker T. Washington

Do you have success in your life? Do you have God in your life? If you do, you will.

The Greatest Opportunity: A Message About Love

Monday, February 27, 2012
By Joyce Meyer, from Greater Things Compassion Conference – February 2012

If I could only ever preach one message, it would be on love, compassion—helping people. It means so much to me, and it’s also been the most life-changing to me personally.

Love has taught me who God is. In 1 John 4:7-8, the Bible says that the more we know how to love, the m...

Words of Wisdom with Joyce Meyers

  1. Knowing who you are in Christ leads you to peace, and peace always produces joy in your life.
  2. We don't need a wishbone—we need a backbone.
  3. You can think what you want to think; you don't have to think whatever just falls into your head.
  4. Truth is the only thing that defeats deception.
  5. We must meditate on what God has done in our life instead of what we are still waiting on Him to do.

Just Can’t Help It!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“We cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard”
(Acts 4:20, NKJV)

TODAY’S WORD

          from Joel and Victoria

Have you ever been so in awe by something that you just couldn’t help but talk about it to everyone you know? Maybe you were excited about a new relationship, a job or the birth of a child. But, nothing on earth can compare to what God wants to do in your life. He wants to amaze you with His goodness and overwhelm you with His love. He wants to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you could ever ask, think or imagine. He wants to do things in your life that you’ve never seen before. He wants to impact you in such a way that you can’t help but talk about Him!
The key starts with us. Our faith in God is what opens the door for Him to move and sets the blessing in motion. God has given every person a measure of faith. He has given us all the ability to believe and receive from Him. Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. As you meditate on His Word and receive His promises by faith, He will move mightily on your behalf. It won’t be long before you just can’t help speaking about His goodness everywhere you go!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I choose to receive Your promises by faith. I choose to meditate on Your love. Thank You for working in my life. I keep my heart and mind open You in Jesus’ name. Amen.
  — Joel & Victoria Osteen

Lakewood Church, a True Blessing

Joel is truly a great blessing to me. He teaches so that even a non-believer can receive.

Isaiah 35:3&4 King James Version

God is saying to us that we need to allow the Spirit to come in and change us; to allow Him to take control and give us the fruit of God bestowed upon each of us when we allow it to be so.

What I need to do now!

This is a list of Bible verses that I need to take to heart, to write them on my heart, so I can become who He wants me to be.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the LORD in everything you do, and he will show you the right way. (Good News Translation of Proverbs 3:5-6)

But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8) Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9) And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10) That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death. (Phil 3: 7-10)

You are not powerful enough to stop God's plan! "For the Lord of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?" (Isaiah 14:27 ESV). He is God, and He's in COMPLETE control!

Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16)

My Spiritual Recovery Back to Jesus; My Experience

I am here, an actual living being. But not just living, I am a god. Whatever I will, will come forth. And yet, I also have a creator who made me. He also has a will, and whatever He wills, will be manifest.

I have known my creator for all of my life. And I have allowed His will to override mine at times. But for the most part, it was my decisions that were allowed. And when I allow His control in my life, even that is a decision of mine, that I felt was the best for my circumstances.

My parents took the time to make sure that I would reverence God, and to believe that He sent His Son into our world to redeem us, which would in turn, allow us to enter into His presence, one of total truthfulness and obedience. And there is nothing of greater importance than total truthfulness and obedience. Without these, we become unknown even to ourselves.
